Over the next few weeks at The Franchising Centre, we’re focusing on helping businesses understand the different paths they might take, and the pros and cons of various different strategies. If you’re interested in being a part of it, there are 3 events coming up you might be interested in:
ScaleUp 360 Business Seminars
Later this month, I will be teaming up with ScaleUp 360, a fantastic Yorkshire-based organisation dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and SMEs grow and develop their businesses. I’ll be hosting two seminars titled “Is franchising the right strategy for growth for you & your business?” on 23rd May at Sheffield Hallam University, and on 30th May at Barnsley Business Village.
If you’re local to the area, you can attend in person, but it will also be streamed online. They will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about franchising and if it might work for you and your business. The main topics will be:
- Discovering if your business is ready to franchise and, if it is, are you?
- Could you use the skills you have gained in business to buy into a franchise which can grow alongside your own?
- If neither route is right for you, what other strategies are available and how can you make the most of them?
British Franchise Exhibition – 9th and 10th June @ London Olympia
One of the biggest dates in the franchising diary, and attended by some of the world’s biggest names, as well as up-and-coming franchises looking to make their mark. The event also attracts some of the world’s leading experts on business strategy who will be presenting a number of workshops and seminars.
I’ll be one of the panellists at the ‘How to Franchise Your Business’ seminar at 12.45 on the Friday, and you can also find me and the rest of the TFC team on our stand at F140, so pop by and say hello if you get the chance!
