Jun 30, 2025 | Monthly Newsletters, News

You might not believe it from the weather, but summer is just around the corner, and things are sure starting to heat up in the franchising world.

Here’s all the latest news and developments from our team of experts here at The Franchising Centre:

Franchisee Recruitment

There’s no doubt everyone has had to work a lot harder to recruit franchisees in the last few years. As we currently work with more than 20 different brands every month from a huge variety of sectors, we have a wider angle perspective of the franchise landscape than most so we’ve been using that unique position to take a really deep dive into exactly what kind of support brands need.

Whether you’re just beginning your recruitment journey or are a seasoned franchisor finding that old strategies no longer deliver, it’s clear that adapting to today’s market demands a more targeted, strategic approach. Starting from as little as one hour per month, we offer tailored services to help you identify the right leads, craft effective messaging, optimise your budget, and streamline your recruitment process. Sometimes even a tiny bit of help can really go a long way!

Franchising Your Business

Aside from questions like “Is franchising right for my business?” or “What do I need to do to make it work?”, by far the most common thing we are asked is “Is now really a good time?”, especially these days. There are a lot of good reasons why franchising is an excellent move whatever is happening in the economy and, despite more business than ever attending seminars and events on this topic, a lot are still now sure if they should take the next step.

Which is why we are now introducing a brand, new Franchise Ready Review to help you answer the hardest questions of all: “Is it worth the risk? Is this the right move for me? And if so, what steps do I need to take?”

Read more about this new service here: Is franchising really the right move? And how much support do you really need – if any?

Franchise Storytelling

Are you getting a lot of great leads, but none of them are progressing through your pipeline to actually becoming franchisees? Or maybe you’re suffering from “abandoned cart” syndrome – leads which look really promising but just aren’t taking that final step?

It’s a problem we’re seeing more and more. Sales techniques which work wonders for selling a product or service just aren’t getting results when it come to franchisee recruitment. The issue isn’t your product, your message, or your audience, it’s that franchise marketing plays by different rules. As specialists in what we are now calling B2F comms (Business to Franchisee), our Franchise Storytelling team is keen to start discussions about what does and doesn’t work in the modern franchising scene.

Read more about that here: Relying on product marketing techniques to sell your franchise? It might be time for a rethink…

International Franchising

In just the past two months, we’ve helped 2 UK-based brands secure multiple Master Franchisees and Area Developers in high-potential overseas markets. Following a record-breaking Franchise Pool International Forum in Lisbon, it’s clear there’s a renewed appetite for UK concepts abroad. International buyers are actively looking for strong, scalable franchise models with real support behind them.

The truth is, global franchising opportunities never disappeared, of course – they just paused. Now, international markets are once again buzzing with interest, and serious partners are ready to invest. So, whether you’ve always had with global ambitions, or are just starting to explore the idea, the window is wide open. The question is: are you ready to take the next step?

Franchise Operations & Support

Our Franchise Operations & Support team (previously FRM) have worked with a number of different brands over the last year or so, all of different sizes, and all from different industries. The big thing they have noticed is not just they all face very similar challenges, but that almost all of them think they might be the only ones with these problems!

So, if you’re experiencing trouble with supporting your network, dealing with problem franchisees, issues of compliance, lacklustre or poor performance, or even legal disputes, please take our word for it: It’s not just you…EVERYONE has these exact same problems! Fortunately, a problem shared is also a problem halved, and our FOSS team is bringing both tried and tested, and innovative, new solutions to the table.

Learn more about the most common franchisor problems and what you can do about them in this latest blog: “Why doesn’t everyone else have these problems?” Actually, they do…

At The Franchising Centre’s Software House, we’ve handpicked a suite of powerful, evolving software solutions designed specifically to support franchise operations, all of which are dynamic platforms that keep improving based on real franchise feedback.

Not only that, but we’ve got some great new partners and special offers coming up soon, so watch this space!
