Could this new franchise collaboration make for the perfect blend?

Oct 8, 2024 | News, Owning a Franchise, Recruiting Franchisees

This project between 92 Degrees and The Franchising Centre means you can start a great, new business the same way you start any great day: with some Damn Fine Coffee™!

If you dream about opening your own exciting and dynamic coffee shop one day, franchising is by far one of the most accessible ways for most people to do that – especially if they haven’t got the resources or experience to build a new brand up from scratch.

With dozens of café and restaurant franchises out there, choice is never a problem – the real challenge is choosing one which can stand out from the crowd and help you create a truly unique destination.

Well, if that’s the problem you’re facing, we’ve got great news for you. There’s a new kid on the block and it might just be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for: 92 Degrees!

92 Degrees launched its first coffee shop in Liverpool in 2014 and was founded not just on creating a profitable business, but on strong values of community and inclusion. Their coffee shops are not just a great place to get your daily caffeine fix, but also a great place to visit and spend time in. By embracing the rich culture and identity of every location they open in, they have become the real heart of their communities.

At the core of their success is a great product, of course – their famous Damn Fine Coffee™ – but there’s a whole lot more to the 92 Degrees than just another coffee franchise. The franchise team have already shown they understand just how crowded the market place is and have built their brand from the ground up on the idea of standing out from the crowd for all the right reasons.

In summer 2024, they took the next step by engaging with The Franchising Centre (TFC), one of the UK’s leading franchising consultancy firms who pride themselves on their innovative, professional and ethical approach to development and recruitment. While TFC brings a whole team of specialists to bear for any of their clients, seasoned Franchise Consultant, Michael Hulmes will be the first point of contact for the franchise.

“From the moment I first spoke to them, I knew 92 Degrees was something special.” Michael told us. “Yes, absolutely it is a solid business proposition for franchisees to make money on their investment, but it’s so much more than that. Being an ethical franchisor was something Jack and Gerard spoke about straight away, they really believe in creating opportunities for success through franchising.

They already have a very impressive set up and structure at 92HQ and have a powerful vision for both the brand and the franchise, I’m really excited to be working with them. This is the start of something big!”

Incredibly, the initial fee for partnering with the 92 Degrees franchise is just £20,000 plus VAT, though prospective business owners will need to factor in costs of leasing and outfitting premises. 92 Degrees is especially keen to hear from both self-starters coming into the industry for the first time, and experienced entrepreneurs looking to open across a wider area.

With three recent openings in train stations Liverpool Lime St, Liverpool Central and Glasgow Queen St they are on course with the company’s ambitious plans to expand its footprint to 20 company owned sites by the end of this year.

We’re expecting this franchise to enjoy rapid expansion, especially now it has TFC’s help driving it forward. So, anyone interested in being part of the next big thing in their local area are urged to get in touch with Michael and 92 Degrees as soon as possible.
