Not in the abstract – everyone knows they should be blogging, emailing their database, showing up on social, etc. I mean specifically: how many pieces, in what mix, and what it’s going to cost you. Most franchisors I talk to can’t answer that with any confidence, and it’s not because they haven’t thought about content. It’s because nobody’s ever put a number in front of them and said “here’s what this actually looks like.”
Normally, that’s where a conversation like this would lead into a scoping call — a bit of back and forth, a proposal a week or two later, a price that feels like it came out of nowhere. I’m not going to do that this time.
Instead, we’ve built something much simpler: a menu.
A fixed set of content packages, each with a clear mix of blogs, emails and social posts, and a price attached to every one of them. No scoping call required to find out what something costs. You look, you pick what fits, and you know exactly what you’re getting before we’ve even spoken.
What your content could look like:
- Essential – 2 emails per month @ £150/month
- Consistent – 10 social posts @ £250/month
- Growth – 1 blog and 2 emails per month @ £300/month
- Complete – 1 blog, 2 emails, 10 social posts @ £600/month
This is just to give you an idea of what to expect. These packages are designed as starting points, not rigid templates. Every franchise has different priorities, so we can adjust the mix depending on what you need.
However, the idea here isn’t to sell you more content than you need. Quite the opposite, actually – most franchisors either put out too little because they’re not sure what to prioritise, or too much because they feel like they ought to. Neither approach does them much good.
The point isn’t to create a bigger shopping list. It’s to help you see what a realistic content plan looks like, decide what matters most, and invest accordingly.
If any of this sounds like it would take the guesswork out of your content planning, I’d be happy to talk through which combination makes sense for you. No pressure, no sales pitch – just a straightforward conversation about what you need.
